Dad's Fire Hall Photo Shoot!

We had to sit by the pretty Christmas tree the Ladies  Aux put up
we like it when they are in the kitchen, Dad doesn't let us
in the kitchen but they always know when we are there,
we sometimes get treats! Some of the Firemen give us treats to!

Dad took us to the fire hall today and then decided to do a photo
shoot of us. Momma said he did very well, she loved all the
pictures.
Well Mom says its time for our denta stix, which we get after we
eat our supper, she wanted to get the photos on the blog and
we have waited paitiently for her, but we are now getting antsy
and want our treats!

Ready,  Set,  Go!

Run, Run, Run

No Mom I am not coming in, I'm working on making snowballs to eat.

I love to plow snow, can't ya tell?


Wow! It's snowing, yea! Mom left us out this morning and she couldn't get us to come back in, she said it was to cold but the way we ran & ran we were quite warm and loved, loved, loved it, had a ball, Matty Miser, which is what mom calls him actually took his nose and rolled little snowballs & ate them, I just plowed and ate the snow & Jasper went in, mom said he was the smart one. She opened the door for us to come in & we wouldn't so she told Jasper to come get us so he ran out & Matty started towards him and he ran right back into the house. Mom laughed and laughed at us told us we were funny boys! Mom said that we were what makes the snow a little more bearable for her, she doesn't like snow, she likes it better when it is 80% & sunny, but ya gotta make the best of the seasons, soon Santa will be coming & mom says we have to be good or we won't get treats & toys, ha like that's gonna happen, I think Grandma & Grandpa already got us something, Grandma had mom upstairs with the door shut so we couldn't get up, somethings going on!

Thanksgiving Day

Happy Thanksgiving Everyone!


Our holiday did not start out very well, we lost our cousin Willy last night, he was a Lab, bird dog mix, he had a stroke, so we are sad about that.
We are going to go to our Grandpa & Grandma's to try to cheer them up.
We hope  everyone has a Happy & Blessed Thanksgiving.

What a fun day! Mr. H & his mom Kim came to visit us, we romped & played, we showed him our fenced in yard & how to go through our mom's flower garden, she thinks next year we're going to stay out of it, tee hee we shall see! We have heard so much about Mr. H so it was so nice to get to see him & share what all we do, he gets to ride all over we think that is pretty neat. Mom & Dad really enjoyed the visit we were all so excited when Kim called Mom & said they were coming. They were going to see Gpa Philip & Gma Mary, & Nannie Janice, Mom told Mr. H to give hugs from all of us! We are all going to keep putting our paws together & saying our prayers for them.

I had a very happy birthday today, I got all my treats first & my brothers had to wait their turn for everything today, boy I liked that. I even had steak, yummy!  Except for wearing the hat, life is good!

Sunshine Weekend

Enjoying the sunshine

We were outside all weekend long, we helped mom cut back her flowers and today she cleaned out the shed. She really worked us this weekend, then on top of it all she decided it was so pretty out that she would have a photo shoot of us, the top two pictures were not posed she just happened to watch for her opportunity & got us sunning ourselves, the bottom pictures she posed us. She got lots more she will share later. Was a great weekend nice and warm, momma says these warm days are to take advantage of because it is supposed to get cold and rain again, and we don't like getting wet!

We had a busy weekend. We went to Lancaster to celebrate our Grammy and PopPop's 50 the wedding anniversary. (This was Matty's first Lancaster trip) We left on Friday, daddy went down 120 for the scenery and that didn't set well with Matty's breakfast, after a short pit stop everything was well and away we went.

We went straight to the church to meet Uncle Chip & Aunt Janet to set up for the anniversary party, we got to meet the church staff and they fussed over us & couldn't believe how well behaved we were, which mommy and daddy say is a compliment straight to Gma Mary & Gpa Philip.

Then we went to see Grammy & PopPop and got settled into their camper for the weekend. Our niece came with us and stayed in the camper, Jasper slept with her.

We got to go to the "toy store" (pet smart) got to pick out some toys and got some treats. Met lots of nice people.

We got to meet Grammy & PopPop's neighbors, our Grammy talks about us all the time to them, they have a yellow lab, but we didn't get a chance to meet her.

We also went to our Uncle's to help him celebrate his 40th birthday and got to play with our cousin who is golden retriever.

We came home on Monday and slept pretty much the whole way home.

Kindergarten & Head start came to my Fire hall today

Oh Boy did we have another busy morning today!

The Kindergartners came to the hall at 9:00am and I greeted them out on the ramp from a distance, there were so many of them!

I hid behind Daddy because there were so many of them, but once inside I made up to a few of them when they came up one at a time. Daddy said I am getting better each day, he says we are going to work on it and I will keep on him to make sure he does.

While we were outside getting our picture taken by E-32 the head start kids arrived and that was a smaller group and much easier for me. All the adults thought I was the cutest in my turn out gear. Daddy set me up on a table and I sat there while he taught the kids and then Daddy motioned for me to come and I went straight to him and everybody was impressed with my obedience.

Daddy and I had a good morning, Daddy was very pleased with me and I received good comments from the day care. I was invited back to visit anytime.

Tomorrow is the big challenge the kindergarten group comes to the fire hall, there are 68 kids. Daddy says I am a little skittish but I will get over it. All in all it was a good morning.

There was a change in the schedule today and I wasn't able to go with Daddy.

He was just as sad as me, hopefully I can go tomorrow, I'm all ready to go momma had me all brushed and my teeth brushed, I love to have my teeth brushed, mommy and daddy got me an electric toothbrush and I love it.

So we will try again tomorrow. My fire costume is all ready, just like daddy when he goes on his calls.

My Big Day !!

Wish me luck !!

Tomorrow is my big day, I get to go with daddy to the Family Center for Fire Prevention.

If all goes well I may get to go to the Day Care on Wednesday.

My Big day would be Thursday to meet the Kindergartners.

Daddy is going to start me out with the small group to see if all goes well.

Thursday Jasper has to go to the vet to have his teeth cleaned and Brinkley has to go have his yearly shots, so daddy didn't want to leave me home alone so I get my shot at being the fire prevention dog.

Reports! Reports!

Here we are helping Dad do monthly reports.

We went to the firehall today to help daddy with the September reports.

He has lots and lots of reports to do and as you can see we are very big helpers.

Tonight we got to help mom take care of dead flowers, she says she doesn't like this part of  fall.

Next week is Fire Prevention & we will have lots to do to help get ready for that.

We have been busy!

Ready to go on Engine 33

We have been busy boys the last couple of days. Daddy had a couple days off so we spent alot of time at the hall. We got to run with Daddy to an MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) yesterday, very minor basically a car in a ditch, Daddy recalled all the equipment from our station and we returned back to the station. Then we got to help Daddy and another firefighter, Smitty work on ladder brackets on E-32 (Engine 32).

Today Daddy ran a QRS (Quick Response Service) call before mommy left for work so we got stuck at the house. Daddy came home and got us and we were down to the station playing with Smitty's girls which are 2 cockers and a terrior mix, there names are Holly, Misty, and Muffin, when the house bell went off for another call, so off we ran to daddy's truck on our way to another MVA. Daddy messed up and left the keys in the truck and you guessed it, we locked him out. Daddy called mommy to come bail us out but in the meantime Matty rolled the window down and daddy could get back in, mommy came and got us anyway,cause daddy had to stay on scene and direct traffic.Chilled out the rest of the day.

Birthday Gpa Philip!

We all put on our Birthday hats just to wish Gpa Philip a very, very happy Birthday, even Milo (cat) says have a happy day! "Be Safe"

Fence Painting

Here we are after a hard day of painting!

Boy did we have a busy day helping mom paint the fence. Brinkley was the first to get into the paint,he just walked up to the fence and put his head down, then he stuck his ears in the paint bucket, mom did take time to get some pictures, she says "only Brinkley" Matty managed to dump over some of moms flowers and I (jasper) just sat on the patio and watched, it wasn't till a couple days later when mom was trimming my tonails she discovered I had walked through some paint, if Brinkley can color his hair I can do my toenails!
If all that wasn't bad enough mom lost her balance on the steps carrying the paint bucket and spilled it all over the steps and patio, but she got the inside of the fence done and hopes to start the outside Saturday, means we get to be out all day, Yeah!
We have been saying our prayers for Gpa Philip and Gma Mary we love them very much.

What a weekend, we have had a busy one, we got to go play and have fun with Abby then we rested yesterday and today Dad, Grandma & Grandpa finished our play yard. Mandy came to play with us today and help us supervise the project. We are not sure about this we need to figure out a way to get to our treat lady next door, we will figure out a way, maybe a tunnel. We are open to any suggestions. Till next time
